Presentation Brothers Honoured In WAP.

The Presentation Brothers WAP were honoured by the Principal, Staff and Students of the St. John Bosco College of Education, Navrongo. This was in recognition of the numerous meritorious and excellent academic contributions of the Brothers since 1968 to the growth and development of the college over the years. In view of this, a Newly constructed Hall of Residence was dedicated to honour the good works of the Brothers over the years. This event took place on 31st January 2019, the Feast day of St. John Bosco in the college and a good number of Brother attended the occasion.
The citation reads…
’In appreciation of the commitment and tremendous outstanding contribution in providing academic, infrastructure, environmental and social support in the life of St. John Bosco’s College of Education, Navrongo. By contacting the British Council Ghana, a large number of useful educational books were donated to the college library, you funded the college Assembly Hall edifice (St. Patrick’s Hall), funded the construction of a modern staff room for the college Junior High School, you organized the first ever science exhibition that drew science students all over the then Upper Region in 1970. You form Religious and Social clubs with guidance and counselling services. You organized trainees in tree planting, protecting and watering the young saplings as your contribution to greening the environment. Management takes the pleasure to present to you this award…you displayed outstanding professionalism, abilities, untiring determination and devotion to duty reflect this great credit upon you. You initiated projects despite extremely adverse conditions and difficulties, therefore distinguishing yourselves by your consistently high level of efficiency in teaching.’
We the new generation of the Presentation Brothers in WAP who are the recipients of this Great Honour, wish to sincerely pay a glowing praise to our gallant, dedicated and zealous pioneering Brothers and all other Brothers and Volunteers who have taught in the college for their tremendous work done in the fields of education in the St. John Bosco’s college of education over the year that merited what we received and rejoiced today.
